DEVELOPING A PR PLATFORM

Having served as director of public relations at New England Culinary Institute for many years, Pam Knights understands what constitutes a good story and how to work with the media. She also believes that PR is developed from the inside out, starting at the local level, building momentum, and emanating to regional and national publications. Building PR depth and awareness is incorporated into the strategic marketing plans that PKC develops. A good story is the cherry on top for a well-executed marketing campaign.

ONLINE PRESS RELEASES

PKC works with clients to identify and develop noteworthy angles to fit their profiles and to build a solid foundation on which to base a story. Pam is no stranger to press releases, to include traditional releases geared for local and state coverage and online releases for regional and national media. Online press releases are also an excellent means of building incoming links to boost SEO rankings and drive website traffic.

LIAISON WITH PR AGENCIES & MEDIA TOURS

Pam Knights has worked with national PR agencies and understands the importance of developing sound story angles, and providing the necessary information an agency needs to effectively do their jobs. In 2010 Pam worked with the production team for the Discovery Channel’s Planet Green to bring Emeril Green, featuring Emeril Lagasse, to Vermont to film segments for her clients, Cedar Circle Farm and the Inn at Weathersfield.
